Why should I setup the Google Tasks integration?
The TaskTracks + Google Tasks integration helps you:
- Attach Google tasks to your daily planner, so you can see meetings and tasks in one place. This helps you roadmap your day and better allocate your time.
Setting up the Google Tasks integration
The easiest way to setup the Google tasks integration is to navigate to the planner page and click the settings button (shown below):
Navigate to the Tasks sidebar (show below) and click the "connect" button for Google Tasks.
If you'd like to filter out specific task lists, please click on the dropdown menu to toggle them on/off
Usage
Here's how you can use Google tasks in TaskTracks.
1.) When using the daily planner
We will pull Google tasks with a due date of today into the planner. If a task is assigned another day, it will show up on that day's view. This helps you see your tasks and meetings together in one place.
If a Google task doesn't have a due date, it will go in the "future" section of the planner. You can also see today's tasks on the homepage view too!
